Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Mathematics.

Anyone of the following Subjects: Chemistry/ Bio-Technology /Biology / Technical Vocational subject.

For admission to first year of B.Tech. (Agriculture): Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. All Eligible candidates for B. Tech. First year are also eligible for B. Tech. Agriculture.

Compulsory subject for B.Tech.: (Agriculture Engg.) Agriculture discipline. 

Lateral Entry- B.Tech (Lateral Entry): passed 3-years diploma in engineering or B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 with minimum 45% marks  for General &OBC and 40% for SC/ ST category.
