Institute of Management Technology (IMT) is a Business School with its main campus at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is rated as one of the Top-10 B-Schools in India by Careers360 Survey 2013.
IMT was established in 1980 by industrialist Mahendra Nath and has since been constantly ranked as one of the Top-10 Business Schools of India. It boasts of some of the biggest names as its alumni and is the leader in international academic partnerships in India.
Accreditation: IMT's educational programmes have been recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India
Admission: Prospective students are required to qualify by taking the CAT, XAT or GMAT test and a group discussion followed by an interview.
Faculty: IMT currently has 70+ core faculty. Apart from permanent faculty, IMT has visiting faculty from industry and other academic institutions. Around 35 visiting faculty are associated with IMT.
Campus: The Ghaziabad campus is a 14.7 acre fully residential campus and is the primary campus of IMT. It was established in 1980. It presently offers PGDBM courses through its state-of-the-art education facilities. All the students are housed in 10 hostels.
This campus has many "Centres of Excellence" like the Centre for Global Supply Chain Management.
The Ghaziabad campus infrastructure consists of academic blocks; student hostels; combined mess, canteen and Nescafe stall; amphitheatrel; MDP block and guest house; car and bike parking; lush green field and well-equipped library. A football field, a badminton, a floodlit volleyball court, a floodlit basketball court, jogging tracks and a multipurpose gymnasium are some of the key recreational features of the campus.
