B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with pass marks in

(1) Physics,

(2) Mathematics,

(3) Language,

(4) any subject (Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Technical vocational subjects),

 (5) Any other subject and with minimum 60% (55% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) marks in above subjects taken together.

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregater and have secured 60% in Mathematics well as must have a minimum aggregate of 70% marks at Diploma level.

Selection Process: Valid Score in JEE MAIN.

40% of the total seats shall be made through  central counselling based on JEE MAIN.

60% of the total seats shall be made through the Tezpur University counselling.

M.Sc. in Environmental Science : B.Sc. in Physical/Biological/ Earth and Environmental Sciences as major/ honours with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates not having major/honours must have at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Or, B.Sc. (Agri.) with at least 6.0 CGPA in 10 point scale or equivalent. Or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Medicine with 55% marks or equivalent grade points.

M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: Candidate pass  Bachelor’s Degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, four years B.S. program (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine, MBBS or BDS with a minimum 55% marks in major/honours or aggregate.

Those who   have passed the qualifying examination before 2 years from the date of announcement of admission are not eligible.
