Exam Details

The Law School Admission Test (LSAT 2022) is a worldwide Level Entrance Examination. It is organized to offer admission into various Law Colleges/ Institutions of India and Foreign Countries.

The LSAT is divided into three main types: logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension.

There is no negative. Only correct answers contribute to a candidate's score..

There is no negative marking or penalty for guessing. Only correct answers contribute to a candidate's score. Therefore, candidates should leave no question unanswered and guess on those questions they cannot carefully consider.

LSAT—India 2022

Candidates registered for LSAT—India 2022 will be able to test from the comfort of their homes without paying anything additional or worrying about travelling to a test centre. LSAC will help Candidates make arrangements to acquire the necessary equipment if they do not have or are unable to arrange to get the equipment on their own. 

The online LSAT—India 2021 will be administered over multiple days starting 10 May 2021. Towards the end of the registration period, candidates will be asked to provide preference of testing slot from the date and time slots available for testing. Candidates will be allotted one of their preferred slots and will receive information regarding the date and slot on which they will be required to appear for the test—their ‘Test Appointment’.

Near the end of the registration period you will be required to upload an electronic copy (photo, scan, etc.) of one of the IDs below on the registration site.   The ID must be original and should not be expired with a recognisable photograph and signature. The first and last names on the ID must match the names entered when registering. The following are acceptable forms of ID:

UIDAI / Aadhaar Card (Coloured or black/white E-Aadhaar Print is acceptable, but Aadhaar registration slip is NOT acceptable.)


Election Card / Voter ID

PAN Card

Driver’s License

SC/ ST Certificate with photograph

Military ID / Government-issued Armed Forces Dependent ID containing photograph of the test-taker

Employee ID containing photograph and signature.

Please note that the following are NOT acceptable as IDs:

Photocopies (attested or otherwise)

Notarised copies

Learner's driving license


Applicants shoul be a citizen of India.

Candidates should have qualified 12th board examination of 10+2 education system of CBSE or any other equivalent education board, if applying for undergraduate law programs including BA LLB.

For LLM LLB is required. 

Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for LSAT India exam (Candidate need to check associated college age  limit).

LSAT—India Question Paper Pattern

Analytical Reasoning

These questions test deductive reasoning skills by requiring you to deduce what could or must be the case about a certain scenario, based on some rules and conditions.

Logical Reasoning

These questions evaluate your ability to understand, analyse, criticise, and complete a variety of arguments contained in short passages.

Reading Comprehension

These questions measure your ability to read, with understanding and insight, examples of lengthy and complex materials similar to those commonly encountered in law colleges.


No refund of registration fee will be done once candidate registered successfully.

Once a candidate registers and pays for the LSAT—India, they will not be able to defer it to the next test administration or next year.

On completion of the registration, all candidates will get an LSAT—India registration number.
